Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBBP - ACP)
Emergency Broadband Benefit Program transitions to Affordable Connectivity Program 12/31/2021
The EBBP (Emergency Broadband Benefit Program) will transition to a more permanent program known as the ACP (Affordable Connectivity Program), effective 12/31/21.
Currently enrolled EBBP customers will see no change in their EBBP benefit amount during the 60 day transition period, which runs from 12/31/2021 to 3/1/2022.
After the 60 day transition period ceases (3/1/2022), the monthly benefit amount will decrease from $50.00 to $30.00 under the Affordable Connectivity Program.
EBB subscribers may switch service offerings at any time.
If an EBB subscriber is required to take any steps to retain their benefit after March 1, 2022, they will receive additional information.
**Please note that eligibility factors have slightly changed for the Affordable Connectivity Program. See the FCC link below for the full list of eligible programs.
